Lumipeek by Geneplanet - Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Lumipeek prenatal tests provided by Geneplanet, you agree to abide by and be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, do not use our services.

2. Service Description

Lumipeek by Geneplanet provides prenatal genetic testing services using Illumina technology. These services include, but are not limited to, analyzing genetic material to provide information about potential genetic conditions of the unborn child.

3. Order and Payment

3.1 To order a prenatal test, users must provide accurate and complete information. Geneplanet reserves the right to reject or cancel orders if there is reasonable suspicion that the information provided is inaccurate.

3.2 Package prices are as follows:

• Lumipeek™ Basic: 370 EUR
• Lumipeek™ Advanced: 480 EUR
• Lumipeek™ Premium: 540 EUR

3.3 The price of services will be indicated at the time of ordering and is subject to change that Geneplanet may apply in accordance with applicable laws and regulations in the Republic of Serbia.

4. Prenatal Test Packages

4.1 Lumipeek™ Basic - Inclusive: gender, 21-18-13, sex aneuploidies.

4.2 Lumipeek™ Advanced - Inclusive: gender, 21-18-13, sex aneuploidies, microdeletions of syndromes: 22q11, 15q11, 1p36, 4p, 5p, Phelan-McDermid syndrome, Jacobsen syndrome, 10q26 deletion syndrome*.

4.3 Lumipeek™ Premium - Inclusive: gender, 21-18-13, sex aneuploidies, ALL deletions/duplications**, all chromosomal aneuploidies.

*The test detects microdeletions/duplications (>7M base pairs) at locations associated with named syndromes. Such findings are explained and interpreted by a geneticist.

***Detection of Y chromosome in twin pregnancies.

5. Refund Policy

5.1 The refund policy pertains to the return of funds to users who meet the conditions established in the Geneplanet Refund Policy, available on our website.

5.2 Users can cancel testing before sample collection via email or phone call. If testing has already been paid for, refunds will be issued in accordance with the Refund Policy.

5.3 If a user cancels testing after the sample collection kit has been dispatched but before the sample is collected, the refund policy outlined will be applied.

6. Sample Collection Locations

6.1 Samples for Lumipeek prenatal tests can be collected at our laboratories in major cities in Serbia. Detailed information on specific locations will be available as soon as possible.

Analyses are conducted in a laboratory in Germany.

​6.2 Note: Currently, the availability of collection points may be limited in rural areas, but our partner in Serbia is actively working to expand the network.

7. Order and Distribution of Sample Collection Kits

7.1 Customers will be able to order sample collection kits directly through our website.

7.2 Currently, the exact handling process of sample collection kits in our laboratories is unknown. Geneplanet will provide information on kit availability and sample collection instructions as soon as we receive them from our laboratories.

7.3 Geneplanet reserves the right to change or modify the process of distributing sample collection kits in accordance with needs and legal requirements.

8. Transport

8.1 Sample collection kits ordered through our website and picked up at our laboratories will be transported directly to our laboratory in Germany.

8.2 Geneplanet is not responsible for any damages or losses during transport, unless caused by negligence or misconduct by Geneplanet.
